Since 2002, Michael Lenzi has released solo records under the names Tough Solar, Resplendent and Lenzi. From 1991-2002, he played in several bands. Much of this music can be found on Band Camp, YouTube, SweetPeaRecords.net, where noted below.

Active from 2002-2012, Resplendent put out six records on Mixx Tape, a Sweet Pea Records imprint. The music is sample-based electronic music with vocals. You'll soon be able to find and download all six resplendent records on Band Camp.

Michael released a box set under the name LENZI in January 2016. In a very special, limited run,  the 3 LP set called “Ballads of Lost Son” featured colored vinyl (clear, pink and yellow) and screen printed packaging by Steve Walters of Screwball Press. The sound is acoustic guitar and voice, and it tells the mostly non-fiction story of his life.

Starting in 1999, The Fire Show released three full-lengths on Perishable Records, the label of Red Red Meat and Califone. The Fire Show reunited Michael Lenzi and Seth Kim-Cohen from Number One Cup and disbanded in 2002, when Seth went to graduate school in England. The Fire Show is experimental post punk.

Melodic indic rock band Number One Cup released more than 15 full-lengths, EPs and singles from 1993-1999, starting on Chicago's Sweet Pea Records and ending on Richard Branson's V2 Records. Their single "Dive Bomb" reached No. 6 on the UK Indie Charts in 1996, and they were invited to perform two Peel Sessions by the BBC's legendary John Peel. Number One Cup toured North America, UK and Europe, and most of their releases can still be purchased at Sweet Pea Records

Michael also played drums in Honda Pavarotti, The Velmas, Gold Medal, Tart and The John Huss Moderate Combo.
